Manual Therapy

The reason you would seek out massage therapy is because you are in pain. 

In my 30-year career as a Registered Massage Therapist, I have helped a lot of people get their life back, and I want that for you. 

If you're suffering from debilitating physical pain, anxiety, or stress, then I can help you with massage therapy. 

I want you to feel well cared for and listened to.

I can promise you by your third massage that, you will feel less pain. I will do my best to help you, but if you're still in pain, then we can find other modalities that may help.

If you have never had a massage appointment I want to be the first therapist to give you an amazing experience.

My goal is for you to love it so much, you include massage therapy as part of your health and wellness plan.

You can expect me to assess your situation, discuss your treatment plan, and go over the techniques used during your treatment to manipulate muscles, tendons, and joints.

The pressure could range from light-moderate to deep tissue. And it’s very important to communicate how you are feeling during a treatment and to let me know if you’re uncomfortable at any time.

Massage therapy is the oldest form of therapeutic modalities. Being able to heal others with touch is very powerful.

Working out can create delayed muscle soreness (DOMS). It would benefit you to recover quickly from workouts, and massage therapy has been proven to decrease muscle soreness. You will feel rejuvenated instead of stiff and sore.

When you increase your flexibility by having regular massages, you will be able to ride your bike for long distances because your back will not stiffen up on you.

Petrissage is a technique that is used to increase circulation  and is a superficial  as opposed to deep tissue massage therapy.

Anatomy includes the skeletal, muscular, nervous, respiratory, cardiovascular, lymphatic, endocrine, reproductive, urinary and digestive systems.

Registered Massage Therapy

Initial Visit: 75 minutes Registered Massage Therapy Visit

The first visit is a very in-depth look at the areas that need to be addressed.

I will assess the areas which are causing you pain and discomfort.

I will be using palpation skills and passive and active range of motions during this assessment.

You will learn a lot about your physical health in this initial visit and will feel better after our first session together.

You will receive self-care tools so you can keep improving and taking control of your pain.

Subsequent 60-minute Registered Massage Therapy Visit

$120

In this hour-long treatment, we will continue with your treatment plan.

Combining massage, passive and active range of motions, trigger points, deep tissue manipulation, and more self-care tools.

RMT’s are very skilled therapists who use their hands to assess and treat pain and inflammation.

I have been a massage therapist for 30 years, and I understand what pain is and how to help you reduce inflammation and start living again.

I have a lot of knowledge about essential oils and plant medicine to enhance your massage experience.

I can create a formula, especially for you and your condition that I am treating.

I make my own oils, lotions, and salves, which I use in my clinic to enhance massage treatments.

Subsequent 75-minute Registered Massage Therapy Visit

$135

In this 75-minute treatment, we will continue with your plan, but I can spend a bit more time with you.

I would recommend this treatment if you have many areas to focus on.

I will still be using a lot of the same massage techniques but tailoring them to what you need.

90-minute Registered Massage Therapy Visit

$150

In this 90-minute session, we will continue with your treatment plan.

This session will give us a lot more time together, allowing me more time to work on specific areas that may need more attention.

This session can also be used for relaxation massage as well. Not all sessions have to be deep tissue massage.

Relaxing your nervous system helps our bodies to rest and digest.

As your massage therapist, I will work hard to get you out of pain and get you back to the activities you love to do.

I bill directly to several insurance companies, some of which include: Pacific Blue Cross, Green Shield, Canada Life, and DVA.
