Kinesiology and Fitness Training

If you're recovering from an injury or want to improve your overall health and fitness, seek a kinesiologist or a fitness trainer to help you with your pain.

I studied kinesiology at university and trained to help maximize your movement. I use exercises to strengthen weak muscles and stretch tight muscles.

As a personal trainer, I will help you improve your overall fitness through cardiovascular training and strengthening exercises. I can help you at the gym, at my clinic, online via Zoom, or in your own home.

Reasons to See a Kinesiologist

You're in Pain: Through proper movement, I can help you relieve pain by strengthening any weak muscles and stretching any tight muscles.

Improve Your Circulation: Movement can help improve your circulation as well as improve your immune system. Through movement, your lymph system pumps out toxic waste products from your cells.

Increase Your Range of Motion: Motion is Lotion. Movement helps restore your joint mobility and flexibility.

Helps You Prevent Injuries: Your balance and coordination are all improved with movement, strength training, and flexibility.

You’ll Recover Faster from Injury: With movement, you will reduce pain and inflammation, which speeds up the healing process.

Reasons to See a Personal Trainer

Increase Your Accountability: As your trainer, I will keep you doing your workouts and doing them consistently. The more support you have, the more likely you will stick to your goals.

You Will Learn about Fitness: You will learn about proper form, how to use equipment, and what exercises are most effective for you.

Helps with Your Goals: I will help you set realistic goals that are attainable, even if it is just to stay active or feel better.

Individualized Plans: A plan for you that will get you the best results.

Very Flexible Schedule: You can meet with me on your schedule monthly, weekly, or several times a week. I can meet you In person, or virtual meetings can be planned, and a session can last 30-60 minutes.

Variety of Activities Planned: Variety is the spice to fitness and keeping it interesting for you. Changing things up keeps you motivated to keep taking action toward your fitness goals.

Individualized Nutrition Advice: Whether your goal is weight loss, muscle gain, or both, nutrition plays a critical role in the balance. You need exercise and nutrition together to achieve your optimal fitness.

My husband sees Leanne for chronic headaches and lower back pain which has been helped tremendously through her assessment, treatment, exercises, and home care activities.
